This certification ensures every megawatt-hour of clean electricity generated is transparently tracked and verified. This reinforcing trust, traceability, and measurable impact across the renewable energy value chain.

While IREC(E)'s certifies renewable generation, Fuel Switch takes transparency a step further through our time-based and time-matched instruments. These products allow renewable generation to be tracked in 30min intervals, rather than annually. This enables granular visibility into renewable energy production.

Together with Growthpoint, we match these time-based RECs with corporate client consumption, allowing corporate clients to align clean power use with actual consumption hours. Additionally, this enhances credibility in sustainability reporting, with auditable data for GHG and ESG disclosures.

By sharpening demand signals for clean energy during periods of scarcity (e.g., at night or in winter months), time-based matching also stimulates investment in new, diversified renewable and storage solutions.
